Seventeen years ago, with its firsts several wall clocks, Nomon has surprised all the world and from then, this company from Barcelona doesn’t stop impressing us with its avant-garde design and extreme attention to detail. 

After consolidating as leading company in indoor clocks, Nomon decided to enrich its catalog with presentation of one new  entire complementary furniture collection – Nomon Home, and widen all customers’ decorating expectation as well. The launch of this collection fuses passion for jewelry and furniture design, creating an innovative project, where the complementary furniture becomes main role with elegance, style and sophistication.

One of the most emblematic product among this collection is Valet stand. Nomon opened its curtain with Valet stand M which is considered as masculine version, composed of one walnut wood hat hanger, one metallic graphite detail and one hanger fixed in middle height of main structure for hanging a suit coat.

In order to complete this collection, and also together with the huge success that Valet stand M has achieved, Nomon introduced Valet stand W with an organic form of mirror, one flat box like the one of Valet stand M but of polished brass and one hanger hanging on top of it for a night dress in Maison&Objet 2018 that there won’t be any more proper stage to make debut. Without any doubt, this valet stand couple has formed a fabulous part of the furniture line in Nomon, we are very proud of them.

A lot of people would like to ask: ”Why such a traditional type of furniture, valet stand would be selected?” Our designer Andrés Martínez explained:”I want people to embrace the beginning of their day with accompany at their bedrooms having a private moment of getting dressed and feeling elegant.” It’s a new concept of the classic suit valet, a seductive object that transforms our daily life aspects into luxurious moments. Moreover, with an essential quality, made if natural solid walnut, marble base and metallic element, makes this valet stand become a jewel for our suite or dressing room. “We want to achieve maximum the function of valet stand and for this reason we have added one metallic detail of polished brass or graphite finish on one third of total height for our clients to keep their daily accessories.”

One of the most important challenges which can be applied to everything on the world of design is how to perfectly complete one project in a very innovative way. “I was thinking of accompany rather than a furniture item and it turned out that there was no better option than using human’s form. Obviously Valet stand M has the same sketch shape of one man meanwhile Valet stand W looks more like an elegant and sophisticated lady.” The warm and luxurious feeling which Valet stand of Nomon transits is the main message that we want our clients could understand.

Respecting to natural veining and maculate surface, we have chosen warm walnut wood as the main structure of Valet stand of Nomon with various marble options acting as base. And moreover, this year in iSaloni Milano 2018, Nomon has presented new black finish applying on both Valet stand M and Valet stand W.
